Job Summary
Assess individuals receiving services for their hopes and desires to provide supports facilitating achievement of personal goals. Protect and promote the rights of each person while assisting them in developing advocacy skills and utilizing personal advocates. Supervise, educate, and monitor people in work settings including community agencies, vocational workshops, and day supports. Maintain a safe working environment by practicing safety procedures, implementing person-centered relationships, and documenting progress notes, timesheets, and incident reports. Substitute in-house or in the community as demands occur and assist with staff orientation and training. Driving and travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Drivers License - USA
- Experience working with adults with a mental health diagnosis and/or developmental disabilities
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for sleepover at a residential setting
- Must be available for driving and travel
- Must maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements
- Must demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas
- Must follow service definition guidelines for services being provided
