Job Summary
Assess each person's hopes and desires to provide supports facilitating their achievement of personal goals. Support individuals in developing community relationships and participating fully in their lives while protecting and promoting their rights. Provide support for emotional, physical, and medical needs and implement individual plans within agency policy. Assist with day-to-day home operations including housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation. Drive and travel as required to arrange or provide transport. Assist with emergency procedures, safety drills, and equipment inspections. Complete daily progress notes, communication logs, incident reports, and timesheets accurately. Attend meetings and training as required while maintaining all certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Drivers License - USA
- Experience working with children or adults (dependent upon population served) with a mental health diagnosis, an intellectual/developmental disability, or substance use disorder
- Sleepover at a residential setting
- Drive and travel as required
- Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas
