Job Summary
Developmental Specialist II providing in-home developmental services for infants and toddlers (0-3) as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsible for administering assessments, writing reports, creating Individual Family Service Plans and providing Child Outcome Summaries. Travel to families in their natural environments, often in their homes or villages, to deliver age-appropriate services and support successful transitions before age 3. Must collaborate with colleagues, demonstrate knowledge to serve young children, and complete required credentials (Part C within six months; Alaska SEED level 10+).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an early childhood special education, social work or related field
- Professional licensure/certification in teaching, social work, or master's degree in related field
- Minimum of one year experience working with young children
- Must be able to work with in a team
- Will complete state-mandated Part C credentials within the first six months on the job
- Must be able to obtain Alaska SEED credentials of level 10 or higher
