Job Summary
Conduct multidisciplinary team assessments and evaluate family and child strengths, concerns, and progress for infants and toddlers with developmental delays. Provide child and family-centered services using the parent coaching model to facilitate parent-child interactions and assist families in advocating for their children. Partner with parents to develop Individual Family Service Plans, schedule interventions, and monitor progress while completing documentation in the electronic system. Deliver individual and group interventions targeting cognition, adaptive behavior, social-emotional development, and motor skills. Work flexible 30-40 hours Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm with clinical supervision, mentoring, and team support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a major or concentration in infants and toddlers (includes Early Intervention and Early Childhood Education), child development, child studies, education or special education
- at least 300 hours of practicum or work experience with young children
- 1 year experience in Early Intervention
- minimum 3 years' experience working with infants, toddlers and families
- Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development
- Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners
- Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Good computer skills
