Job Summary
Assist individuals with daily living activities and help them develop new skills as outlined in their Person-Centered Plan. Provide care, support, and companionship to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities while maintaining a safe environment at home and in the community. Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage growth and collaborate with a Team Leader and Program Director for guidance. Complete accurate documentation of all services provided. This role supports individuals to reach their fullest potential within a stable, mission-driven organization offering flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Physical ability to work in a variety of environments, including navigating stairs and other barriers in private residences
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
