Job Summary
Assist individuals with daily living activities and help clients reach goals outlined in their Person-Centered Plan. Provide a safe, supportive environment at home and in the community using positive reinforcement techniques. Complete accurate documentation of services provided and collaborate with a Team Leader and IDD Program Director for guidance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Physical ability to work in a variety of environments, including navigating stairs and other barriers in private residences
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
