Job Summary
Conduct home visits and provide screening and assessment services for families with children ages birth through five. Analyze assessment data to identify risk factors and recommend appropriate services within the Healthy Beginnings system of care. Collaborate with community agencies and Entry Agencies to facilitate referrals and parental education. Accommodate client schedules by conducting appointments after school, in the evenings, and on weekends when necessary. Record daily reports on appointments, referrals, and program activities. Requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency and a valid Florida driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services (preferably in a field such as social work, developmental psychology, and/or early childhood education)
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in child welfare, primary prevention services, child development or related field
- Schedule includes occasional evening and weekend hours as needed
- Must be 21 years or older
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Valid Florida's driver's license is required
- Successful completion of a background check through Clearinghouse
