Job Summary
Develop a two-spouse, full-time on-campus residential care role for 8–13 students in Milton Hershey School homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students daily, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The position initially supports multiple student homes with a nine-on / three-off schedule, then transitions to a Placed Houseparent role with a consistent student-home assignment. Requires strong youth engagement, responsibility, faith-aligned activities (Judeo-Christian Chapel), and ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
