Job Summary
Enhance and scale the internal development experience at Adyen by optimizing build and test performance, reliability, and automation. You will design and maintain build tooling ecosystems, optimize CI/CD pipelines, implement automation to detect flaky tests, and collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver scalable solutions. Required skills include experience with build systems like Gradle, CI/CD pipeline tools, programming in Java, Kotlin, or Python, and working with containerized environments. A passion for developer experience and problem-solving is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Working with build systems such as Gradle or similar
- Applying test frameworks, test impact analysis, or flakiness detection techniques
- Designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Temporal, or similar)
- Programming in Java, Kotlin, or Python
- Implementing developer-focused automation or tooling (e.g., internal plugins, build analyzers, or CLIs)
- Working with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with developer portals (e.g., Spotify Backstage)
- Building build analysis or observability tooling (e.g., Gradle Profiler, Develocity Build Scans)
- Experience integrating AI-assisted systems (LLMs, internal copilots) into developer workflows
- Understanding of monorepo architectures and dependency graph management
