Job Summary
Coordinate logistics and oversight for internal and external fundraising events, including community engagement outreach, special fundraising activities, and in-kind donation solicitation. Support donor stewardship by matching donors to activities, managing renewal processes, and overseeing volunteer program data entry and record keeping. Assist with agency visibility at community fairs, coordinate in-kind disbursement to programs, and support ongoing digital e-newsletters and mailings. Work in an office environment with heavy computer use, requiring attendance at events and occasional evening or weekend availability. Maintain confidentiality regarding donor and client records while supporting the Development Team to grow monthly and annual giving programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required with similar nonprofit or special event experience
- At least 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit, special event or similar environment
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Must be highly organized
- Detail-orientated
- Excellent time-management skills
- Initiative
- Able to multi-task
- Able to work independently
- Must be able to lift files and office supplies up to 25 pounds
- Must be available for evenings and weekends
