Job Summary
Development Scientist I responsible for participating in the development and commercialization of immunoassays for an automated system. Execute experiments, analyze results, and present conclusions to cross-functional teams. Participate in characterization, verification and validation of new and modified product designs. Document studies including materials, methods, and conclusions. Work in a fast-paced environment, manage timelines for multiple projects, and identify process improvements within the department. Supports collaboration across global teams and adheres to Good Laboratory Practices in a clinical diagnostics setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Science (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related science)
- 0+ years of laboratory experience
- Training in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or medical related science)
- Laboratory Medicine or other related clinical chemistry experience
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices and scientific methods
