Job Summary
Development Resident Engineer responsibilities include validation and development of basic and market-specific features, acting as the local representative of the supplier HQ to support the Customer’s development and validation teams, communicating product status to the Customer’s engineering teams, performing field testing (approximately 80%) and data logging (20%), handling hardware issues and flashing problems on site, producing test reports, creating and verifying issue tickets, and coordinating between the Customer’s and internal engineering teams to manage vehicle configurations and component updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s engineering degree
- 2 or 3 years more in job-related experiences
- Requires strong driving skill/Test vehicle maintenance
- Willingness to travel 20% of the time

- Automotive Multimedia and Telematics experience (preferred)
