Development - Redevelopment Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct market research, financial analysis, portfolio and individual asset assessment, and feasibility studies for development and redevelopment initiatives. Evaluate construction pricing, project budgets, investment hurdles, and perform scenario analysis. Assist with project due diligence, data collection/analysis, underwriting, and reporting while creating and maintaining project-level Argus software models. Produce and maintain project tracking reports including formal investment presentations to support ground-up development and major redevelopment projects for medical outpatient buildings. Occasional market or project site travel may be required. This role supports Healthcare Realty Trust's mission as the largest public, pure-play owner and developer of medical outpatient buildings in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in real estate, development, investment banking, investment underwriting, or related fields
- Proficiency with the suite of Microsoft software underwriting, analysis and reporting tools
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- This position works in our corporate headquarters in Nashville
- Potential for occasional market / project site travel (short duration trips only)
