Job Summary
Development Program Manager (Q-Systems: Security) leads design, pre-construction, and construction activities for Q-Systems security deployments across the portfolio. Interfaces daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations to ensure systems (facility network, wireless access, BMS/EPMS, security technology) are implemented per Basis of Design documents and project schedules. Responsibilities include coordinating with network infrastructure/technology teams, writing scopes of work for design/construction/commissioning services, managing multi-phased site development plans, updating executive-level project status, and maintaining master plans to support timely, on-budget delivery while upholding QTS standards and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Eight or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, Construction Management at Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods from conceptual development through procurement to close out
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for use in communicating program updates to executive level, and Excel to create and maintain site program & individual project budgets
- Be able to travel up to 50% of the time
