Job Summary
Development Manager at UNCF supports corporate and foundation relations, assists in identifying high- and mid-level prospects, recommends solicitation and stewardship strategies, helps prepare grant proposals and sponsorship requests, tracks gifts and maintains CRM data quality, contributes to revenue forecasting, and serves as liaison for the National Faith Initiative to ensure consistent messaging and fundraising across area offices. The role collaborates with branding, marketing, and communications, coordinates national faith campaigns, and cultivates faith-based partners within the assigned portfolio. It includes duties related to donor reporting, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and ensuring donor-directed deadlines are met. The position is hybrid, based in UNCF’s Washington DC Headquarters, with on-site and remote responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- at least 2 to 5 years of field experience in development
