Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for software development initiatives supporting Patient Experience and Digital Health, delivering scalable solutions through hands-on coding, solution design, and code reviews. Partner with architects, product leaders, and stakeholders to define technical direction, drive adoption of engineering best practices, and guide development efforts across cross-functional teams. Mentor developers, facilitate knowledge transfer, and foster a culture of accountability while actively contributing to architecture, design, and modernization efforts. Work hybrid in Burlington, MA or Greenwich, CT. Base pay ranges from $103,300 to $287,600 annually. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required with enterprise-scale software experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-scale software applications
  • Strong software development experience with expertise in application design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership on software development initiatives
  • Experience mentoring developers and promoting engineering best practices through collaboration, coaching, and technical guidance
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, application architecture, and modern engineering practices
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into effective technical solutions
  • Experience working within Agile development environments and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with source control systems, code reviews, continuous integration, automated testing, and software quality practices
  • Ability to influence technical direction and drive outcomes across teams without relying on direct authority
  • Ability to balance hands-on development responsibilities with technical leadership and delivery oversight
  • Experience improving application architecture, platform capabilities, and engineering processes
  • Experience supporting healthcare technology, patient experience, digital health, or customer-facing platforms
  • Experience participating in large-scale modernization, migration, or transformation initiatives
  • Experience supporting knowledge transfer programs and geographically distributed teams
  • Experience leading technical teams as a Technical Lead, Lead Software Engineer, Engineering Lead, or similar role
  • Prior people management experience
  • To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country where the job is located
  • U.S. residents only; all work must be performed within the United States
  • Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)

Desired Qualifications
