Job Summary
Lead storytelling and data strategy for major gifts, grants, and community fundraising. Serve as the primary Bloomerang administrator to ensure data integrity, build donor dashboards, and manage gift acknowledgments within 48 hours. Research, write, and submit grant proposals to local, regional, and national foundations while maintaining strict application calendars. Manage a portfolio of community partners and local business sponsors to secure event sponsorships and annual partnerships. Provide direct supervision, coaching, and goal-setting for one Development Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in nonprofit development, operations, or data management
- Proven CRM Mastery: You have 'Sr Admin' level experience (Bloomerang, GiveSmart, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, etc.)
- Grant Success: A track record of writing and securing grants
- Leadership Potential: Previous experience managing a person, an intern, or a significant project team
- Attention to Detail: You're the person who catches the typo in the 10th paragraph and notices when a donor's name is misspelled
Desired Qualifications
- experience with animal welfare grants is a major plus
