Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of approximately seven developers across Visualfiles/Everyfile and .NET solutions, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support through regular 1:1s and performance reviews. Oversee delivery of development projects, system enhancements, and production support while prioritizing workload across multiple concurrent workstreams and managing risks. Act as the technical lead for solution design, best practices, and complex problem solving, driving continuous improvement in tooling and architecture. Manage release and deployment activities with appropriate testing and governance, partnering with stakeholders across IT and the wider business to understand requirements and communicate progress. Balance business-as-usual support with strategic initiatives focused on automation, workflow optimisation, and AI-enabled solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Essential Experience leading software development teams
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities and workstreams
- Proven ability to balance project delivery with operational support activities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- A minimum of 2 days each week required from the office, 3 days from home
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience working with Visualfiles/Everyfile
- Exposure to or understanding of .NET / C# development
- Experience within a legal, professional services or regulated environment
- Experience working with case or matter management systems
- Experience driving process improvements, automation or team efficiency initiatives
