Job Summary
Development Manager at BAGLY leads and manages BAGLY’s fundraising operations across individual giving, institutional funding, corporate partnerships, and development events. You will supervise staff, implement fundraising initiatives, manage donor engagement, and oversee CRM governance (Bloomerang), reporting, and moves management. The role involves collaboration with the Senior Director of Development & Marketing on strategy and planning, coordinating grant proposals and reporting, managing events such as Heels for Hope and Massachusetts Youth Pride sponsorships, and ensuring successful stewardship across donor portfolios. The position is based in BAGLY’s Boston office with hybrid work options determined case-by-case, and occasional travel within Massachusetts. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with strong writing, project-management, CRM experience, and nonprofit fundraising background among the key qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; strong writing skills for grant proposals, donor communications, sponsorship materials, and fundraising campaigns
- experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
- experience working in nonprofit organizations, advocacy organizations, fundraising environments, or community-based settings
- comfort and experience using CRMs to manage donor records, reporting, and fundraising operations
- professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills with donors, sponsors, vendors, and community stakeholders
