Job Summary
Development Manager, Athletics, Student & Campus Experience responsible for advancing philanthropic support for student and campus priorities, including Athletics. Will personally solicit gifts ranging from $25,000 to $500,000, manage an 80-100 donor portfolio with 10-15 face-to-face meetings per month, prepare briefing materials for senior administration, collaborate to align fundraising priorities with scholarships, sponsorships and capital projects, develop proposals and cases for support, partner with Annual Giving on integrated campaigns, negotiate gift closures and support planned giving; will represent AA&D at high-volume donor engagement activities and events including evenings and weekends. Requires an undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience), CFRE preferred, independent, proactive, and able to work across campus with stakeholders at all levels; proficiency with donor databases/CRM and Microsoft Office; flexible in a remote/on-campus capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- CFRE designation preferred
- strong fundraising experience
- ability to manage a portfolio of donors 80-100 and conduct 10-15 face-to-face meetings per month
- excellent written and verbal communication
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor databases/CRM systems
