Job Summary
Lead the development team for a vertical within the travel distribution systems, managing product delivery, lifecycle, and business-centric SLAs. Partner with business unit customers, Product Managers, and vendors to define functional requirements, size product needs, and coordinate engineering and vendor teams for flawless execution. Project manage development efforts while creating comprehensive technical documentation and defining performance metrics. Supervise developers in an Agile environment, maintain stakeholder relationships, and resolve product lead issues to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of development management in a Java environment with coding experience in Java
- Demonstrated experience in agile lifecycle management and project management
- Familiarity with technical architecture of scalable systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of both automated and manual testing techniques
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambitious environment
- Location Manila, Philippines
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the travel distribution systems (GDS, Amadeus, Travelport) is a plus
