Job Summary
Development Infrastructure Engineer role in Dublin for AECOM, focusing on design and development of storm and foul drainage networks for housing, industrial, and commercial applications. Responsibilities include design and development of drainage schemes, drafting design drawings (including 3D where applicable), reporting, site inspections, and supervising CAD Technicians; coordinating with private/public sector clients and multi-disciplinary teams; knowledge of drainage design software such as WinDes (Microdrainage); familiarity with DMRB/DMURS and capital works frameworks; and leveraging AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM tools. Required Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Working towards Chartered Engineer
- Knowledge of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS)
- Experience in design of storm and foul drainage networks
- Proficiency with WinDes (Microdrainage)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit or BIM packages
- Familiarity with Road and Pavement design (DMRB/DMURS)
- Site inspections and drafting of design drawings (3D where applicable)
- Excellent written communication and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of Capital Works Management Framework or similar contracting frameworks
- Full clean driving license
