Development Events Manager

Job Summary
Organize and execute high-quality donor events by collaborating with partners in Programming, Live Events, and Marketing to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. Develop event templates, timelines, and processes while managing vendor relationships for catering, A/V, and venues to ensure flawless delivery. Draft communications, track RSVPs, and maintain accurate donor data in Salesforce, then facilitate post-event discussions to evaluate effectiveness. Manage the annual event calendar, donor events budget, and related contracts, while responding to donor inquiries before and during events. Track attendance and ensure individuals are entered in Salesforce with event notations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or combination of education and training with relevant experience
- Minimum of 2-4 years' event management experience, preferably in the nonprofit field
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain key business relationships and have a strong customer focus
- Must be able to adapt to a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds, both within and outside K-LOVE, to achieve mutually positive outcomes
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective attention to detail and time management with the ability to manage and complete several projects at the same time
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/Ministry relationships
- Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
