Job Summary
The Development Engineering Manager is responsible for driving the execution of projects and supporting development goals, enhancing technical growth of associates, and creating automation solutions to improve efficiency. Key qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, process design experience in a medical device environment, and a minimum of 3 years of management experience. Proficiency in CAD, ERP systems, and compliance with ISO13485 or GMP in a medical manufacturing context is required. The role also expects engagement in creating extraordinary customer experiences and supporting revenue goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
- Process design experience in a medical device environment
- Minimum of 3 years of management/leadership experience
- Design for manufacturability experience
- Good PC skills in CAD, ERP system(s), Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with ISO13485 or GMP compliance in a medical manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Automation experience
- Rotary converting experience
- Sheet converting experience
- Lean/Six Sigma training preferred
