Development Engineer - Orbital Stage (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Own various structures and fluidic systems on the upper stage of the launch vehicle, taking full responsibility from concept through hardware integration and post-flight analysis. Define and maintain requirements with a strong focus on system-reliability while creating CAD models of components and assemblies. Collaborate with peers from Propulsion, Analysis, and Testing to qualify systems and resolve non-conformances supported by parallel test campaigns. This role requires a degree in Aerospace engineering and 2+ years in lightweight structures or fluidic systems design, with proficiency in Siemens NX. Full-time employees benefit from one day per week home office and 30 days annual leave.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Aerospace engineering
- 2+ years in the design/ development of lightweight structures or fluidic systems for spacecraft applications
- Good skills with CAD software (Siemens NX or other)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and addition to detail
- Hands- on experience in a testing or operation environment
- Basic knowledge of launch vehicles and sub-systems
- Feel confident with medium and high-pressure pneumatic systems
- Business Level English
