Development Engineer

Own technical and analytical execution for assigned Product Development Engineering projects, driving problems to resolution and escalating only issues requiring next-level authority. Act as the lead technical point of contact across design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing functions, coordinating these groups as products move from concept through production. Conduct reengineering to produce models and drawings for existing products while developing and coordinating validation testing for new product launches. Provide engineering support to improve first-pass yield and drive cost reduction on current products, and investigate scope and risks for potential new products to assist in business case development. Manage project scope, schedule, and technical risk by independently planning and sequencing technical work to meet program milestones.
