Job Summary
Development Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and deploying backend services using Java and Spring Boot; build and maintain microservices architecture, develop RESTful APIs, work with databases and messaging systems, and participate in the full SDLC with Agile practices. Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, unit/integration testing, code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities. Emphasis on collaboration with analysts, QA, and architects, plus opportunities to architect solutions and drive innovation within cloud-based managed services. Required experience with Java (8+), Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms (Azure); familiarity with databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL), GitLab, Maven/Gradle, OAuth2/JWT security, and observability tools is preferred.
