Job Summary
Develop, test, and deploy aerospace and defense mechanical products and systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Focus areas include development, design verification testing, and demonstration of advanced technologies for military and aerospace programs; assist in conceptual design, proof-of-concept, prototype hardware design, fabrication, system testing, and full-scale system development; contribute to test planning and execution, data collection/reduction, and proposal/project performance efforts.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Typically possesses 0-3 years aerospace and/or defense experience
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Basic understanding of data acquisition systems and instrumentation
- Basic understanding of SolidWorks and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Knowledge of military and commercial specifications preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, and hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
