Job Summary
Development Engineer 4 responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of the AI Ops platform and software development solutions. Designs and customizes software applications leveraging AWS and Google Cloud, mentors junior staff, manages documentation, and drives collaboration with QA and stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading design concepts, evaluating and developing software solutions in public/private clouds, documenting design specifications and deployment guides, planning software deliverables with program teams, and continuously improving engineering processes. Requires strong experience in Golang/Python/Java, cloud services, AI/ML concepts, and ITSM/automation, with a track record of leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or information technology or related field (Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- 7-10 years of experience in software development
- Proven ability to lead the design and implementation of ITSM automation and AIOps projects
- Experience with AWS and Google Cloud services
- Proficient in Golang, Python, and/or Java; experience with APIs including GraphQL
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tooling
- Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and pair programming
- Strong documentation and design skills; ability to create architecture diagrams and design specifications
- Experience mentoring and leading development teams; strong collaboration and communication skills
- AWS Certification (preferred)
- Experience with machine learning/AI and prompt engineering
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation platforms
- Strong understanding of software development processes, design patterns, and agile methodologies
- Track record of delivering scalable software and improving operational efficiency
- Experience with data engineering and API design
- Knowledge of ESB platforms, graph databases, and cloud-native architectures
