Job Summary
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang, writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-functional collaborations to define requirements and ensure timely delivery. Contribute to system performance optimization, reliability, and cloud cost management within AWS to meet budget goals. Ensure security, compliance, and operational integrity of cloud-based and on-premises systems while promoting automation, monitoring, and continuous testing best practices. Manage deployments in AWS cloud services and collaborate on designing tools that automate tasks and improve decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in developing API's using Golang
- Understanding of Deployments in AWS cloud services
- Understanding of RESTful APIs
- Understanding of microservices
- Understanding of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Basic knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with DevOps best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Go (Golang)
- Experience in EKS
- Experience with Service Mesh
- Hands-on experience in building backend services
- Experience working with UI integrations
- Interest or exposure to AI/ML tools
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud cost management
- Experience driving cloud cost management, optimizing resource usage and managing costs within AWS to meet budget goals
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions
- Experience ensuring the security, compliance, and operational integrity of both cloud-based and on-premises systems
- Experience promoting Development best practices, including automation, monitoring, continuous testing, and version control
