Job Summary
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang, writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and collaborate on designing tools that automate tasks. Contribute to system performance optimization, reliability, and cloud cost management within AWS. Ensure security, compliance, and operational integrity of cloud-based and on-premises systems while promoting best practices like continuous testing and version control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure timely delivery. Requires 3 to 5 years of experience in Golang and AWS deployments. Full-time position in Chennai, India.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in developing API's using Golang
- Understanding of Deployments in AWS cloud services
- Understanding of RESTful APIs
- Understanding of microservices
- Understanding of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Basic knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with DevOps best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong problem-solving skills

- Hands-on experience in building backend services
- Experience working with UI integrations
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
- Experience driving cloud cost management, optimizing resource usage and managing costs within AWS
- Ability to participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Ability to collaborate on designing tools that automate tasks and improve decision-making
- Ability to contribute to system performance optimization and reliability
- Ability to learn from senior engineers and actively participate in team knowledge sharing
- Ability to stay updated with best practices and emerging technologies
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions
- Ability to ensure the security, compliance, and operational integrity of both cloud-based and on-premises systems
