Job Summary
Generate revenue by prospecting and securing local corporate sponsorship and individual donations while building and maintaining relationships with partners. Develop proposals to support fundraising campaigns including the Heart Ball Gala and Go Red for Women events, and recruit executive volunteer leadership for these initiatives. Coordinate event auctions by leading volunteer committees to solicit items and manage day-of operations. Lead new individual membership growth for the Cor Vitae giving society through regular engagement events. Plan and implement events in collaboration with internal and external partners, working closely with the Communications Director to promote campaign plans. Achieve revenue targets through a base salary with potential incentive up to 25% of base pay.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or other related experience
- University/College degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to do daily local travel up to 75% and some overnight trips as needed
- requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis
- Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes)
- Must have at least basic knowledge and skill/proficiency with Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-Suite level
- Knowledge of corporate and community networks
