Job Summary
Development Data and Research Coordinator will conduct foundation prospect research, manage income processing and CRM data, maintain a grants calendar, and support funder engagement as part of the Resource Mobilization team. The role serves as the primary entry point for incoming revenue, processes donor and foundation gifts, ensures data integrity across income streams, coordinates gift acknowledgment workflows with finance, and contributes to continuous improvement of development operations. The position emphasizes data-driven fundraising support, research briefings for funders, and alignment with CJA’s social-justice mission in a fully remote, continental U.S. context, with standard business hours and occasional domestic travel.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in fundraising operations, development coordination, or nonprofit administration
- Ability to process gifts across multiple channels, track donations, and coordinate acknowledgment workflows with finance staff
- Proficiency in CRM systems, including data entry, report generation, mailing list segmentation, and list hygiene
- Ability to conduct foundation prospect research and synthesize findings into clear profiles and briefing documents
- Experience maintaining grants or organizational calendars and tracking key timelines and deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills
- A learning orientation and ability to work in a collaborative virtual environment
