Job Summary
Process donations accurately and enter donor information into Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and generating fundraising reports. Write personalized gift acknowledgments, welcome packets, and tax receipts while serving as the initial point of contact for donors. Conduct prospect research on individuals and foundations to prepare briefing materials for cultivation efforts. Assist with list preparation for direct mail, email, and web campaigns, and perform administrative duties as assigned. Report to the VP of Philanthropy and collaborate closely with the development team. This role offers an introduction to nonprofit fundraising with opportunities for growth as core competencies are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, nonprofit management or related field
- 1-2 Years of related experience
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be able to travel as needed
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally
