Job Summary
Execute donor solicitation and stewardship strategies across mail, email, SMS, and digital channels while serving as the primary contact for external vendors. Administer donor data in Salesforce, overseeing accurate gift entry, donation processing, and campaign creation. Manage the gift certificate process for all donations and act as product manager for Fundraise Up and other fundraising technology platforms. Create and maintain campaigns in Salesforce, Classy, and Fundraise Up; customize donor lists, revenue reports, and dashboards. Collaborate with Finance on donation record accuracy and reconciliations. Represent the Development team in interdepartmental planning, data management, and IT meetings. Oversee standard protocol development and systems management. Hybrid schedule with Tuesdays and Wednesdays onsite in Washington, DC.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of two years of fundraising or nonprofit experience
- Experience with Salesforce
- Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with Fundraise Up, GoFundMe Pro, or a comparable peer-to-peer fundraising platform
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable email marketing and list management platform
- Experience using Monday.com
- Familiarity with Confluence and Jira for knowledge management and case management
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to collaborate in building and strengthening a comprehensive development program
- Regular in-office presence at First Book's Washington, DC office on designated days
