Job Summary
Development Chef at The Compleat Food Group: interpret customer briefs to create innovative food concepts for Wrights foodservice, build and present recipes to customers and internal teams, perform theoretical nutritional checks against guidelines, drive cost savings and efficiency through proactive development, identify trends to refresh products, and collaborate with NPD, purchasing, and finance. Travel to other UK sites as needed; promote health and safety during kitchen and process development; possess strong cookery skills, organizational planning, and effective communication across seniority levels.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Development Chef in food manufacturing (1 year minimum)
- Valid driving licence due to expectations to travel to our other sites across the UK (essential)
- Catering college qualification (desirable)
