Job Summary
Manage calendars, coordinate travel, and track expenditures for Development Officers while serving as the primary contact for donors, patients, and alumni. Format and proofread fundraising materials, maintain donor databases using Raiser's Edge NXT, and process gift acknowledgements within 24–48 hours. Conduct prospect research, make donor qualification calls, and support major events like the Wills Eye Ball and annual Golf Outing through sponsorship outreach and logistics. Submit check requests, organize confidential records, and handle incoming mail and inquiries. Requires a Bachelor's degree, one to two years of office experience, and proficiency in MS Office. Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends is required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting a development office
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of one to two years of experience in an office setting
- Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends for events
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Access

- Working knowledge of funding databases
- Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT and the Event Module
