Job Summary
Manage constituent portfolios and donor relations by performing daily data entry, researching projects for revenue projections, and cultivating gift donations in accordance with organizational procedures. Coordinate event logistics including set-up, tear-down, and on-site assistance while maintaining accurate records in fundraising databases and electronic filing systems. Prepare persuasive solicitations, proposals, and correspondence to support fundraising efforts and maintain professional relationships with donors and community partners. This role requires weekend availability and evening coverage for events, with travel to the state as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 3-5 years of documented development professional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified or combined education with experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient Handwriting Skills
- Proficient with Word/ Computer based software programs
- Solid understanding of basic fundraising principles
- Previous Development or related experience
- Able to learn and perform tasks on software programs (Excel, Word, Altru, etc....)
- Able to maintain confidentiality; demonstrates sound judgement and discretion
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
- Willing to working weekends and some evenings (Events) as needed
- Ability to work as a team

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a nonprofit sector preferred
- Experience with fundraising
- Experience working in Blackbaud/Altru or similar non-profit systems is preferred
