Job Summary
Conduct detailed prospect research using public, proprietary, and purchased databases to identify potential donors and funding sources aligned with Partners In Health's mission. Synthesize biographical and financial data to produce research documents, including wealth estimates and capacity ratings, that inform decision-making for major and principal gift cultivation. Maintain constituent data in the Salesforce database and assist with usage as needed. Execute comprehensive prospect acquisition strategies to identify new donors while participating in prospect review meetings to provide recommendations for portfolio assignments. Manage special projects for fundraising teams, including the board engagement team and private sector partnerships team, and conduct due diligence research for the Gift Acceptance Committee.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to legally work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 to 3 years of direct fundraising/development experience
- 3 or more years of related professional experience
- Ability to deal with confidential information in a sensitive manner
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to locate and interpret biographic and financial information from a variety of sources
- Ability to work well under pressure, handle several projects simultaneously and re-prioritize as needed
- Strong experience with MS office software
- Understanding of information management in a database structure
- Ability to manipulate and retrieve data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to synthesize high volumes of data and write concisely
- Ability to work well with diverse groups

- Ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and country
