Job Summary
Development Associate responsible for supporting fundraising operations and providing administrative support to the Development Team. Responsibilities include managing in-kind gifts and logs (Salesforce), coordinating community campaigns, donor communications for fundraising campaigns and events, representing the organization at speaking engagements and community meetings, front desk coverage as needed, and collaboration with volunteers. Requires excellent written/verbal communication, strong organizational skills, ability to work with diverse constituencies, and a professional, ethical approach. Role involves occasional evenings/weekends and engagement in development activities such as donor tours and fundraising events. Education/experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; strong customer service and data management abilities; valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to lift 30 lbs and perform related physical tasks. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver’s license with no more than three minor driving violations and/or accidents combined within the last three years, and no major moving violations in the past five years
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs, bend, crouch, sit, stand, walk for long periods, and climb stairs
