Development and Fundraising Coordinator

Job Summary
Develop and retain relationships with local and national donors to secure long-term support for NCUS Enterprises' educational division. Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities from philanthropists, foundations, and business developers, then prepare and submit proposals to secure grants. Utilize donor management software to track progress, produce reports, and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies. Collaborate with the communications team to promote outreach initiatives and maintain a comprehensive calendar of funding opportunities and follow-up schedules. Manage multiple priorities while fostering meaningful connections with stakeholders to ensure the organization's financial sustainability and ability to provide impactful educational services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proven experience working with scholars and families from diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of community resources and services available to support scholars
- Familiarity with attendance tracking systems and procedures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to adapt strategies to meet unique needs
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for late days
- Must be able to travel
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
