Job Summary
Development Analyst, Midwest will provide administrative and project-management support to the Midwest team within the Development function. Duties include drafting error-free briefing materials for donor meetings, entering regional data into Salesforce, drafting donor correspondence, supporting Central Operations and regional coordination, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and tracking next steps for projects and regional events such as donor tours at the Obama Presidential Center. Requires proactive collaboration, strong written and verbal communication, and experience with or exposure to Salesforce or nonprofit operations; role is hybrid and based at the Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park, Chicago.
Required Qualifications
- Project management experience – effectively plans and executes short- and long-term projects
- Proactive communication and effective collaboration to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication – written and verbal
- Previous Salesforce or other fundraising database experience is a plus
- Previous development or general nonprofit operations experience is a plus
