Job Summary
Development Analyst to partner with internal stakeholders in AMH Development to identify business requirements for land acquisitions and transform them into technical solutions via system processes. Oversees financial review of land proformas and tracks deals in the land pipeline, collaborating with IT and BI to validate strategic needs, ensure data integrity, and create training. Supports EVP/SVP by maintaining a strong pipeline to meet or exceed plans. Creates data analysis formulas and audits results; ensures compliance with process, quality and timeliness of land deals; analyzes budget changes with regional teams; drives process improvements to accelerate deal processing. Requires 5+ years of technical/analytical experience, land banking experience, strong Excel/Project/Visio skills, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years of technical and/or analytical progressively responsible experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with database management, strategy or advanced analytics and reporting software
- Land banking experience is required
- Valid Driver’s license
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project, and Visio
- Knowledge of accounting principles preferred
- Working knowledge of Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Yardi Voyager, and/or CRM Dynamics
- Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, analysis and organizing skills
- Strong leadership, employee development, appraisal, relationship management, conflict resolution, presentation, and problem-solving skills
