Job Summary
Developer Team Lead at INGENIOUS.BUILD to lead a small engineering team, practice Servant Leadership, and drive the development of a large cloud-based real estate/construction lifecycle platform. Responsibilities include guiding one engineering team to plan, build, and deliver high-quality software, overseeing hiring and performance reviews, reducing legacy code, increasing test coverage, maintaining modular monolith architecture, and enabling efficient development through minimal meetings. Key skills include PHP 8.1+ (Laravel/Symfony), PostgreSQL, automated testing ( PHPUnit ), experience with scalable SaaS CRM/CMS/ERP systems, and team leadership with a focus on impact, collaboration, and code quality.
Required Qualifications
- Communicative English at a B2 level or higher
- Extensive experience building scalable applications, ideally with large-scale systems like CRM, CMS, or ERP; Direct SaaS experience is a strong plus
- Advanced proficiency in PHP 8.1+ and modern frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, with experience in modular monolith and layered architecture
- Strong focus on framework-agnostic development, prioritizing clean, maintainable code that maximizes business value and minimizes dependencies
- Thorough knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) and robust testing strategies
- Experience managing a team of developers and being responsible for delivering multiple complex projects
