Job Summary
Developer Support Engineer to handle inquiries via email, phone, and meetings, organize issues, and coordinate with engineers across countries to resolve technical problems. Responsibilities include recording and sharing response history, collaborating with other departments, reviewing product source code, investigating root causes, and working with product development engineers to resolve issues. Role emphasizes quality/problem-solving over case volume, with opportunities to work online primarily, and occasional onsite support. Rotational extended support may include weekend or evening hours with compensation.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years programming experience
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or hard Science
- Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows or Cloud environments
- Experience with networking or storage subsystems
- Strong communication skills
- Customer support or help desk experience
- Experience in customer interaction or coordination
- Experience in the IT industry
- Experience using English at work
- Knowledge or experience in log analysis, troubleshooting, SQL, OS command operations, or issue isolation
- Ability to listen carefully and explain clearly and calmly
- Comfortable with English (willing to learn through work and training)
