Job Summary
Analyze, design, develop, and test applications including logic, user interfaces, and data integrations using C#, .NET, Python, SQL, and REST APIs. Collaborate with Systems Analysts and Developers from requirements gathering through deployment while maintaining technical specifications and documentation. Troubleshoot and debug problems related to system integrations and SQL queries, and develop analytic reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Manage multiple tasks and priorities with high effectiveness. This 12-month term runs January 2027 with a 5-on/2-off schedule, transitioning between part-time and full-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of a degree/diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Modern programming language knowledge in either Java/ Python/C++
- Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Blazor, Entity Framework, React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSSE, MS SQL Server, Orchestrator, Angular, ServiceNow, Power BI, Oracle, M365(SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive), Documentum, AND McLaren
- All candidates applying to Canadian Natural must have legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)

- May – August: Full-time
- September – December: Part-time (Part-time being a maximum of 20 hours per week.)
