Job Summary
Advocate for developers and AI agents by identifying friction points and driving cross-functional improvements to ensure APIs and tools are intuitive. Create high-quality technical content, including integration guides, sample apps, and code snippets, while championing documentation quality and surfacing developer issues with actionable evidence. Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to maintain agent-ready surfaces that are legible and reliable for AI-assisted workflows. Represent Adyen at events, conferences, and online forums to engage with the developer community. This role requires 5+ years of experience in software development or developer relations, full professional proficiency in English, and the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear content. Based in San Francisco, this position supports Adyen's mission to make the platform the easiest to integrate with for humans and agents alike.
Required Qualifications
- Currently working as a Senior Developer Advocate, Software Engineer, or at a similar level
- Strong grasp of APIs, developer tools, and modern integration patterns
- 5+ years of experience in software development, developer relations, or a related technical field
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Open to some domestic and international travel
- This role is based out of our San Francisco office
- We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration
- We do not offer remote-only roles
