Job Summary
Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software features using GenAI tools to plan, generate, and test code. Pair-program with senior developers, participate in code reviews, and write automated tests under guidance. Help investigate and resolve bugs while learning modern practices like CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring through team rituals such as standups and retrospectives. This internship is based in the Greater Montreal Area with a hybrid model requiring in-office collaboration days.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar)
- Demonstrated high-achiever mindset, shown through one or more of the following: academic distinctions (Dean's List, Honours, 3.7+ GPA), leadership in a club or student organization (President, VP, or Exec), or exceptional accomplishment in a sport, hobby, or passion project
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teammates
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in AI tools, with a proactive mindset toward integrating them into day-to-day work to drive efficiency and innovation
- Interest in learning development tools and workflows such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker
- Curiosity about current industry trends in technology, performance, and software development practices
- Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
