Job Summary
Infisical is seeking a Developer Advocate to create and publish technical content including documentation and educational videos to enhance developer experience. The role involves engaging with developers through platforms like Reddit, X, and LinkedIn, while collaborating with engineering and marketing teams to shape product communication and community strategy. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with developer tooling and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 2+ years of experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or technical community building
- Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, developer tooling, and infrastructure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Comfortable creating content across multiple formats — written, video, and social
- Based in the US or Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a software engineer or working on developer-facing products
- Experience managing or growing developer communities (e.g. Discord, Slack, GitHub discussions)
- Familiarity with hosting developer-facing events
- Existing presence or credibility in developer communities (e.g. active on X, writes a personal blog, maintains OSS projects)
