Job Summary
Senior Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal and client-facing applications using .NET and Angular in a hybrid role based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. You’ll build features with Docker and AWS, mentor junior developers through code reviews, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and influence architectural decisions while prioritizing security, performance, and maintainability. The role requires 3–5+ years of commercial software development with proficiency in C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, Docker, and AWS ECS, plus experience with REST APIs, event-driven design, RabbitMQ, and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git). Desirable experience in regulated or professional services industries and knowledge of GDPR and secure development practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Proficiency in C#, .NET (Core/Framework), Angular, MS SQL, Docker, and AWS ECS
- Experience with REST APIs, event-driven design, and messaging tools like RabbitMQ
- Comfortable in small agile teams and modern DevOps workflows (CI/CD, Git)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset
- A passion for mentoring and supporting junior team members
